Travel Vaccinations

We provide all travel vaccinations for patients wishing to travel overseas, and Canterbury Medical Clinic is a registered Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre with the State Government ( clinic no: 263). If you are planning an overseas trip, please leave adequate time for vaccinations to take place. A week’s trip to South East Asia can ideally take up to six weeks to complete the vaccination course, but can be compressed into one to two weeks with some loss of immunisation efficiency. Extensive overseas trips can take even longer, so it is wise to plan your initial visit with your GP well ahead. Eight weeks prior is usually enough.
