Voluntary Patient Registration through MyMedicare is available in Canterbury Medical Clinic.

How to Register your MyMedicare via Medicare App:

1. Log into the Medicare App
2. Navigate to “MyMedicare” under linked Services
3. Select “Start”
4. Search for “Canterbury Medical Clinic”
5. Select your preferred Practitioner
6. Review and Submit your Registration

Via my.gov.au:

1. Log into your MyGov account
2. Navigate to “Medicare” under linked Services
3. Select “Register for MyMedicare”
4. Select “Start”
5. Search for “Canterbury Medical Clinic”
6. Select your preferred Practitioner
7. Review and Submit your Registration

Chronic Disease Management:
As of November 4th 2024, access to Chronic Disease Management items (such as: Care Plans and Health Assessment) may be linked to MyMedicare. This means that only your registered clinic can provide you with these items.

Telehealth:
Longer Telehealth consultations will be made available to those who register their MyMedicare to our clinic. There will also be added incentives to bulk bill these longer Telehealths for Pensioners, Concession Card Holders, and Children under the age of 16.
